Bakken Petroleum Services Hub
Fire Alarm Design and Installation
Savage Services engaged PRO3 to assist in designing and installing a fire detection system for its Bakken Petroleum Services Hub project in Trenton, North Dakota. This project was a fast-paced design-build project consisting of 24,000 linear square feet of track, an endorsed rail loading building, a five-bay semi-truck unloading building and three 300,000 barrel crude oil storage tanks.
Late in construction, the construction team realized that the original design firm had neglected to design a fire detection system that would automatically actuate the fire protection system. To resolve this issue, Savage contacted PRO3 for assistance with designing and constructing the detection and alarm, life safety, and gas monitoring systems for the facility.
